With the 1st XV playing in the National Medical Schools Cup and the Midlands Reserve League, the 2nd XV playing in the National 2nd XVs Cup and against intra-mural sides and a strong social set-up, UBMSRFC is for everyone. Established in 1958 it remains one of the oldest and most prestigious medical school rugby clubs in the country. Twice National Champions and Twice champions of the Brum Varsity over the University of Birmingham 1st XV, it has much to celebrate. The 2nd XV or 'Airsharks' has also gone from strength to strength in recent years beating the University 3rd XV, the University Freshers and numerous medical schools' 1st XVs. All whilst fielding players of a range of abilities from School 1st XV and Academy players to players never to have played the game before university. Vive Le Cloob!
